Dublin Pubs of Lockdown

On 13th March 2020 the pubs of Ireland collectively closed their doors, forced by the Covid 19 pandemic. This was something unprecedented in Ireland and sparked the idea for this personal project "The Dublin Pubs of Lockdown"

I wondered what an extended lockdown for pubs would look like, and was inspired to photograph 4 iconic Dublin pubs and visually explore the idea of not being able to visit your local. How it feels when this has been taken from us.
